Mitchell Laird, Esq.
Attorney & Founder of Laird Law
Mitchell Laird, the founder of Laird Law, specializes in criminal immigration and litigation while also providing comprehensive immigration representation throughout the United States and abroad. As a son of an immigrant, he understands the stress, frustration, and fear that comes with trying to navigate the immigration process.
Mitchell earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, majoring in political science and Japanese. He then attended Brooklyn Law School, where he studied and interned at a prominent law firm in Japan before graduating with his law degree.
He has worked at The New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) and multiple successful law offices throughout Wall Street, New York, and New Jersey. Mitchell also interned in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigration Affairs, Safe Harbour, and the Immigration Department at the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of New York.
Mitchell is admitted to the New York State Bar, the New Jersey State Bar, and multiple Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals.
